A white Christmas! More and more snow!

This year Christmas was quite different. A week before Christmas it started snowing and snowing and snowing! We had 3 days of school canceled along with 2 late starts. When we thought we couldn't possibly get more snow we did. We had a little over 2 feet of snow and it's still snowing here-a record for our area.

With all of the snow that was forecast we advised my parents that if they planned on spending Christmas with us they better come-so on the Saturday before Christmas they came to stay with us along with George's mom.

We had a lot of together time-mom and me did 3 puzzles in just a few days.

George had to work from home since the roads here are not safe to drive on because they don't treat all of the roads and most people don't have chains or snow tires. We all felt a little trapped but did manage to get out a couple of times-luckily Dad has a big truck and George a 4 runner.

Our street is completely white with no sign of asphalt anywhere. George built a ice fort and 2 snowmen. Dad made a snow cake on top of our bird bath.

Jake and Jenna ganged up with Grandma in a snowball fight against Grandpa. Once again it is snowing here right now!
