Totem Falls tradition

Today was our last day of school. It was originally supposed to be Monday but we had 3 make up days from snow and flooding. I played a little hooky from work so I could go to school with the kids. Totem Falls has the best last day of school traditions. The whole school goes on a parade around the neighborhood with the local fire trucks. The neighbors cheer the kids on and throw them candy. Then they go back to school for an end of the year assembly-slide show presentation and all the kids sing a song that was written just for the school.
