Yesterday we decided to enjoy the sunny (but not warm) day by going for a walk on the Snohomish River trail. We have lived here for over 5 years and never walked along this trail, which is probably only a 1/4 mile from my work. The trail was not very long so we went a little off and walked along the river. We were looking at one of the bridges that crosses over the river. It is an old train bridge that was built in the late 1800's.It was really quite neat. I wished I had brought my camera-we could have taken some neat pictures. These pictures here I found online. The city was founded in 1858. There is a lot of neat old homes here and lots of history. I think I am going to take more time to find out about this city I live in.
I drive past this house every day to work-it's for sale. I want it, other than it would needs way too much $$$$ to make it livable. It was built in 1922.
