We had a busy couple of days with Kelly here. On Saturday we headed up to the Tulip festival. We lucked out that the rain stayed away but it was quite cold and windy. Not all the tulips had bloomed yet, but it was still pretty.
Kelly came up with the idea that we needed to try the Mentos in diet coke experiment. our first try was a little bit of a dud-but on the second attempt we had a geyser. Quite fun!
Jake has been begging to have a T.V. in his bedroom for a long time. Well this weekend George got a new T.V. and he told Jake he could have the old one in his room for the weekend (It is a huge 55" T.V.) needless to say Jake thought it was awesome.
Easter Sunday-It stayed dry long enough to have an egg hunt outside-Yay! Don't let Jenna's Easter dress fool you-the rest of us were out there with our coats on.
While we were at the tulip festival Jenna took about 100 pictures of tulips-this was one of the neatest tulips we saw. Maybe I will post more of them when I get a little more organized.We had a great time with Kelly here and we were so glad she was able to come. Hopefully she will be able to come again real soon!
