Last year my mom made Jake a lizard quilt for his birthday. I promised him last April we would pain his room to match. Well several months later I finally did it. Jake picked a faux finish. This involved lots of work since his room had a wall paper border, was painted bright colors that had to be primed twice. Then had to have a faux finish base coat and then the faux finish (more than I bargained for). I am really happy with how it turned out (even though we ran out of paint with a tiny section left to do.)
Jake's room before was a car theme and bright yellow and blue.
