Victoria, British Columbia

Last weekend we decided to finally take a trip that we have talked about since we moved here to WA. We took the Victoria Clipper ferry to Victoria. We stayed at a nice hotel with an indoor swimming pool with water warm as a bath tub. Which was good being we were freezing the whole trip. We walked everywhere in the biting cold wind and rain.

I think all of our favorite part of Vistoria was the Craigdaroch castle (really it's a mansion) but it had a lot of history. Jenna really loves learning about history and seeing things from older time periods.

Looking up the staircases-all the walls and ceilings were carved wood. Amazing!
WE found this waffle place that made really fancy waffles-YUMMY!
We found out that we like Canadian's dish of Poutine- French fries covered with cheese curds and brown gravy-YUMMY! (I don't have a picture of that)
Jake's Purple Cow drink. Grape float.
Us on the ferry ride-even that was cold.

Looks fun. I remember going there as a young teenager with my parents. I remember it was beautiful

Sure looks like fun. We went when I was pregnant with Jen. We need to go back!
