The exceptionally wet winter took its toll on our backyard. This past weekend we picked up 2 cubic yards of bark, 1 cubic yard of gravel, and 1 cubic yard of cobble. We spent majority of the time working on our backyard. We created 2 french drains with the gravel/cobble to help with water pooling. We spread gravel on the side of our house that does not get oo much sun, we spread bark throughout our front and back yard planters, and resodded the grass area that died. We probably spent 14 plus hours on these projects...and still have not finished! We have a lot more work to do!!!

Wow, I forgot I created this Blog...So I guess now I will try to keep it updated. I cannot believe that May is halfway over, and that Jake had his 7th birthday last month. Up here in the Pacific Northwest it has been very rainy and cold this spring. The weather forecast reported this week that Friday, and Saturday we will be having a heat wave so I took Friday off...maybe we will go camping. I am desparate for SUN!!!
