Today Jake had his birthday party with his friends. It was everything Pokemon! I made Poke ball invites and a Poke ball cake. The boys had fun playing Pokemon Bingo and watching a video. Everything turned out better than I thought it would. Here is the invitation I made. Jake's best friends Jack and Brayden

Today Jake turned 8! We started the day with a special breakfast of french toast and then off to school. Jake decided he wanted to go to Red Lobster again for his birthday-even though he just went there on Saturday with Grandma and Grandpa. He ate a lot of shrimp. We headed home for cake, presents and American Idol.

Today is the day before Jake turns 8. Where does the time go? Since it was so nice outside we decided to let Jake open up one of his presents early. He was quite excited about riding his new red bike. Also just wanted to share the picture from Jenna's room. I made her empty out her bed to put on her new quilt that Grandma made her. This all was in her bed-I don't know how she managed to sleep in there with all of this. A much neater bed.

Grandma and Grandpa took Jake out today to spoil Jake for his birthday. They went out shopping-got him roller blades, Mario Kart, Pokemon and Bakugan stuff. They took him to Red Lobster for lunch he enjoyed his shrimp. He was happy to spend time with them.

My mom took Jenna and I to see Cats in downtown Seattle to celebrate my birthday (July 24). We ate at PF Chang's and then went to the show. We all had a great time!
