I had been thinking of getting a treadmill for quite some time. Since our weather is so bad here we can not usually walk outside without getting soaking wet. I go to the gym frequently but some times I just don't have enough time to drive there-so solution get a treadmill. It was delivered last Saturday 30 mintues before Jake's party. It has been well used since it arrived (hopefully the newness does not wear off and the kids keep using it). Jake and Jenna have used it quite a bit-when Jake is bored he asks if he can run on it-my answer "sure you can!!" One added bonus is the kids have gotten Lily our fat little pug to walk on it with them. I think she has lost a little weight (much needed after her 7 Ding Dong binge last week) and she is worn out at night time. Now if only we could train the fat cats to walk on it.

Yesterday we celebrated Jake turning 10 with a Lego party. What more could a 10 year old boy want. The boys palyed guess how many lego's in a jar, build a Lego mini figure blindfolded and find the Lego's in a bowl of rice blind folded. Then they spent time building their Lego party favors. It was fun and these boys really like Lego's.                     I have found it almost impossible to get a good photo with boys of this age. 

Yesterday Jake turned double digits. He is now 10. Where does the time go? How can my baby boy be 10 years old and 5 feet tall? He comes up to my chin now. We celebrated his birthday by going out to mexican food and having yummy chocolate cake from Costco. He originally wanted a home made chocolate chip cookie cake but our oven broke last week, so we had to come up with some thing else. Jake was spoiled with lots of Lego's. His dream come true!! Tomorrow is his Lego party with his friends.
