Pumpkins and Parties!!

Image
Last night we had our Halloween party. This year we told the kids they could each invite 3 friends-Jake ended up only shoosing 2 close friends. In the end we ended up with 11 kids-which includes the siblings. In the past there were too many people to be able to really enjoy oursleves. I told Jake and Jenna they would be in charge of everything and they did a great job, which meant I could hang out and chat with friends. This year Jake dressed up as Finn from the Adventure Time cartoon. So George decided we should all dress up as a character from Adventure Time. I was Marceline, George-the Ice King, Jenna was both Princess Bubblegum and Elizabeth (American Girl). Jake and his friend Liam (also Finn) Funny costume of the night-our friends Dave and Michelle dressed as Dog the Bounty hunter and Beth his woman.                              ...

The Farm

Image
A few weeks ago I got a groupon coupon to The Farm in Snohomish. (If you have not signed up to recieve Groupon deals you should). So for $20 bucks we got to do all the stuff The Farm had to offer. We started out going through the State of Washington Corn Maze. We enterted the maze in Pullman, WA-we had to exit at Grey's Harbor Here you can see the top of the space needle sticking out of the corn. We found Snohomish The hay jump This was by far the kids favorite part. It was a sandbox full of corn kernels-Jenna did not want to get out. Once they did get out they were shaking the kernels out of their pockets and underwear. The cow train! The kids when they were little always wanted to go on the cow train but we never wanted to pay for it-since it was included with our coupon I made them go on it. Jenna kept saying they were too big. I know they had fun on it, they had big smiles the whole time. We ran into a couple of Jake's friends.

American Girls

My very creative friend Beth had a little get together for the girls who love American Girl dolls. It was so cute. Her daughter Amanda made tiny candy corns and hershey kisses for the dolls. They also all made bracelets for them and one to match their dolls.
